Scratch Game Contest Rules and Regulations
1. Eligibility
Open to all participants [specify age range,
e.g., ages 8–18, or open to all ages].
Participants must have a free Scratch account
(scratch.mit.edu) to create and submit projects.
No entry fee or purchase required.
Participants can enter as individuals or in
teams (max team size: 3 members).
2. Theme
All games must align with the contest theme:

One entry per individual or team.
Include a short description in the project’s
“Instructions” or “Notes and Credits” explaining:
How to play (controls and objectives).
How the game fits the theme.
Any inspirations or credits (e.g., for team
members or Scratch assets).
4. Content Requirements
Games must follow
Scratch Community Guidelines (no violence, inappropriate language, or offensive
themes).
All sprites,
backgrounds, and sounds must be: Created by the participant(s),or sourced from
Scratch’s built in library.
no copyrighted material like characters from movies or games.
Games must be playable with: Clear instructions (e.g., “Press

Polish (20%): Bugfree
experience, clear instructions, and completeness.
Categories (optional):

Intermediate (6
months–2 years).
Advanced (2+ years or
